Casa De Mouraz - Portuguese Wine

Every once in a while I drink a wine that redefines how I see a particular region or grape variety. Portugal, deservedly known for Port, has nothing of which to be ashamed. Still, notwithstanding a lot of improvement in its three main red wine regions (the Douro, the Dao, and Bairrada), non-fortified Portuguese wines have not begun to make a big splash with American drinkers. These two delectable receptive wines from Casa de Mouraz will certainly do their part to change that.
