Pinot Noir is an elegant red wine that can lose its flavor if purchasing the cheap versions. It has a complex strawberry flavor. This win goes well with grilled, roasted, or even sauted foods such as beef, ham, or game birds. Butter sauces that have mushrooms and greens in them are also good with this wine. Lamb, sweet potatoes, and pumpkins do not pair well with Pinot Noir.
