Is Patron "The Best?"

A customer approached me the other day in the tequila aisle and asked a very fascinating question... "Is Patron the best tequila on the market?"

While Patron is a good top-shelf tequila, it is more a pop culture phenomenon and not necessarily "the best" tequila available. A lot of the liquor industry is based around image and marketing. Many of the products that society and marketers claim to be "the best" are often fantastic products, but I'd never call them "the best."
